IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
These pictures and specifications are indicative of the vehicle that will be supplied under your booking. Actual vehicles may vary according to year of manufacture and availability, but your vehicle will be suitable for the required number of people and have similar specifications to those on this website. Vehicles cannot be requested by make, model, year of manufacture, features or specifications.
Driver’s Licence:
A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection.
If your license is in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s licence. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. This must be sighted along with your licence in the branch at pick-up, before we can release the vehicle.
Child Restraints:
Child or booster seats cannot be fitted in this camper.
This camper cannot accommodate children seven years and under, nor children who are over seven years and still in a child restraint.
For more information on Child Restraints please read our guideline below:
Essential Items included with every campervan:
All our campervans are fully equipped with everything you need to make life easy on the road. Click here for a full list of what’s included in your camper.
Solar Panels:
Solar power panels provide a trickle charge to the 12V battery power supply only, much like the engine battery does when driving. The solar panels will not charge over and above the current draw on the battery, nor will they fully charge it. To fully charge your house battery we recommend plugging into 240V power every two days.
Linen Exchange:
This service is included in the Value Pack. It allows guests to exchange their linen (pillow, pillowcase, duvet (doona), sheets and towels) over for a fresh, clean set during the rental after seven days of travel. The branch will need to be notified ahead of time to ensure the items are available and ready for collection.
Bring your pet:
Well-behaved dogs or cats are welcome to come along for the trip. A fee per hire applies. This is to cover additional cleaning processes that we undertake. For more information on bringing a pet please see our guidance here.
Helpful Tips:
We recommend you plug into 240 volt power on your first night and then every two or so days for the house battery to fully charge. The speed of the 12 volt battery drainage will depend on the climate and how often it is used. A full charge takes between 14 to 16 hours and needs to be done at a campground every two or so days.
Top-up the fresh water and empty the waste water every one to two days.
Empty the toilet cassette every one to two days, or as needed. The waste water tank and toilet cassette must be emptied at an authorised dump station. If you are staying in a Holiday Park, you will have access to one there. Otherwise, use the thl Roadtrip App to search for the closest one. Top-up and empty at every opportunity and you won’t have to worry about a thing!
Lastly, always remember, have your keys with you when you are outside the camper.
