What to do in Queenstown

Queenstown might have a reputation for adrenaline-fueled activities, but it’s also a treasure trove for movie buffs. Head to Deer Park Heights, where scenes from Ithilien were filmed – yes, that’s where Frodo and Sam had their Oliphaunt moment. The views are next level, with Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range as your backdrop. Afterwards, take the gondola up Bob’s Peak for a completely different perspective of the town. Wrap up your day with a bite at one of Queenstown’s buzzing eateries.
